Covering Monika at the counter — greet, take the order in Square, keep it accurate and friendly.

Take an order

Greet within 30 seconds — "Welcome to GOD-WIN BBQ, what can I get you?"
Enter every order in Square
Repeat the order back to confirm
Tell the customer the wait time if it's longer than usual
Standard plate = protein + 2 sides
Cornbread is a separate add-on (not part of the plate)

Register close (end of service)

Close all open tickets in Square
Run the end-of-day report (gross sales, # transactions, avg ticket)
Count the drawer against the Square report
Document any discrepancy immediately

Cash drawer (front counter owns it)

Starting drawer = $30 in change
Count the drawer before opening; record the start in the cash notebook
At close, record ending balance + tips in the notebook (permanent daily cash log)

Refunds / voids

Avoid refunds — first offer an equal-value exchange
Front counter may approve one refund under $30 per weekend without Godwin's approval
Refunds over $30 → Godwin approval required
Process all approved refunds through Square

If Square / internet goes down (in order)

Keep using Square normally
If the terminal fails → use Godwin's phone
If no electronic payment → cash only until restored
Enter all cash sales into Square once restored
